Management Approach and Value Creation

Governance Structure

The Company’s community and social engagement activities are governed by a clearly defined structure to ensure effectiveness, transparency, and alignment with its sustainability strategy. The responsible bodies are as follows:

Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee
  • Reviews and establishes policies, guidelines, and strategies on social responsibility.
  • Provides recommendations on the Company’s social initiatives.
  • Monitors and oversees overall sustainability performance.
Social Activities Working Group

Comprising the Marketing Department and the Investor Relations and Corporate Sustainability Department, with key responsibilities including:

  • Planning and implementing social initiatives in line with the Company’s operational framework.
  • Coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collecting data and monitoring the performance of social activities.
  • Supporting the disclosure and reporting of social performance.

Social Engagement Framework

MR. D.I.Y. believes that responsible business growth should go hand in hand with social development. The Company therefore operates under the concept of “sharing” goodness in various forms, with the aim of improving quality of life within communities through initiatives that respond to societal expectations and needs.

All social initiatives are implemented under the “MR. D.I.Y. Cares” programme, which serves as the Company’s core community engagement framework. The programme focuses on community development in areas where the Company operates, alongside collaboration with multiple sectors to support sustainable social development.

Under this framework, the Company focuses on three strategic pillars aligned with business sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Education and Youth Development

MR. D.I.Y. is committed to reducing inequality and improving quality of life, particularly by promoting access to education and life skills development for children and young people. This includes ensuring access to quality education and appropriate nutrition, recognising the fundamental right of every child to learn and develop equally.

Environmental Sustainability

MR. D.I.Y. places importance on minimising environmental impacts from its operations while promoting efficient resource utilisation through environmental initiatives and awareness campaigns.

The Company also promotes a culture of giving by encouraging employee participation in volunteer activities, achieving a total of 553 volunteer hours in 2025.

In addition, the Company is developing a structured framework to promote employee volunteering under its CSR policy, expected to be completed in 2026. This framework will define targets, support mechanisms, and monitoring processes to enhance participation in social and environmental initiatives.
